Construction Industry KPI Report 2018

The Construction Industry Key Performance Indicators have become a mainstay of the industry since their initial development in 1998. These indicators are based on data from thousands of projects completed over the last year and is collated by Glenigan from surveys of construction clients, contractors, consultants and sub-contractors.

This 35-page report, produced in partnership with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and endorsed by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Constructing Excellence and the Building Research Establishment (BRE), reveals a construction industry working hard to meet clients’ expectations and progressively improving its performance across a wide range of economic, social and environmental measures.

The latest set of KPIs is based upon projects completed during 2017, a year of heightened political and economic uncertainty which disrupted construction workloads and was accompanied by rising material and energy costs and growing concerns over labour availability.
