In recent years, the firm has taken advantage of the growth in sustainable technological solutions in the energy & environment market and the trend for clients to outsource technology services. Imtech Inviron has recently seen significant wins in the healthcare and education sectors.

The group also works widely for the water utilities and airports. The group”s Ireland-based business Suir Engineering is a leading provider of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation services.

Conclusion: Solid prospects as an independent group with a blue chip client list

Under its parent company EDF Energy, Imtech UK seems to have emerged from an uncertain spell with positive prospects. The group has continued to pick up a healthy mix of high-profile contracts from its blue chip client list. And with its ownership secure and a new and acquisitive management team in place, the group looks set to benefit from growing spending on infrastructure and particularly the growth of the low carbon and renewable energy sector.
